Tonight! Brick by Brick hosts LORDS OF ACID Who will be performing their popular “Voodoo-U” album and welcoming cosplay and even fetish attire! (Ohhhlala!) they're sure to put on a shocker of a show and have Combichrist, Christian Death and En Esch as their supporting-freaky-acts... perfect for a ghoulish Friday 13th! Check back this week for photos and a review of the show! 😈 **UPDATE OF CONCERT BELOW** Lords of Acid and Combichrist at Brick by Brick for SEXTREME FEST '17 Combichrist really brought the freak flag out at the Brick by Brick on Friday the 13th, opening for the overly sexual Lords of Acid! Some of these NSFW photos really show off the fun that was had for the "fetish night" themed show! Most of the bands that night had some degree of funky-fetish wear for the night, but my favorite outfit of the night went to the uncontrollably wild Joe Letz of Combichrist, who wore a mouth widening mouth piece, and leather-eared head strap, glorious face paint, a platinum blond wig, stripped dress with tights, a garter, pretty chonies and fake bewbs! Letz definitely demanded attention from the crowd with his semi-psychotic behavior on stage, pouring multiple bottles of water onto the drum set, undoubtably making it look really rad when he would drum on a wet set. Letz was also throwing his floor tom forcibly onto the ground endless times, exhausting his Ed-Sheeran-looking-stage-hand, with having to pick it back up and re-align it over-and-over (pictures of this hilarious stunt to watch in gallery below). With the seldom spotlight Letz was often eerie to watch in the foggy shadows of the stage with his drums set up sideways on the side of the stage, for the full Letz experience. Eric 13 played his loud and heavy sound on guitar, but sadly without the company of the eye candy of bewitching bass player Brent Ashley who was apparently very sick and MIA for the show because of his health. Erik 13 wore his typical rock show garb with some light face paint behind his tousled hair that somewhat covered his face during most of the set. Andy LaPlegua, the vocalist, sang the heavy vocals with a evilly enchanting smile behind the mic. Their set was powerful and captivating on all levels of fierce stage presence and music, a definite show that is a must see even if you have not heard much of their music before they are worth checking out for a live show. The Setlist for Combichrist on this tour included: Lords of Acid have been bringing immensely erotic techno industrial music, with lustfully-lewd-lyrics, to the ears of the masses since Belgian electronic DJ Praga Khan release "I Sit on Acid" in 1988 with the first Lords of Acid line-up, featuring Jade 4U. During this years Sexstreme Fest Mea Fisher was the female sex goddess on Vocals. Fisher has also toured as the female lead vocalist for the past two Lords of Acid tours and being the vocalist for the most recent Lords of Acid album Deep Chills. The stage at Brick by Brick was full of electronic sexual lust with Lords of Acid playing their 1994 "Voodoo-U" album, but not in album track order, their set was also sprinkled with five of their most popular fan favorite songs. Mea was decked out in sexy perforated leather vest that showed a peekaboo of her electric tape X nipple pasties, she sported the Lust Lords of Acid booty short Panties, the same style that were on sale at their merch booth, with fun elastic ties wrapped up her legs and thighs. Though Mea started the first song with big badass industrial black platform shoes she kicked them off after starting the show, running and rolling around on stage in her socks. Everyone else in the band wore their own bitchin' flair of industrial rave outfits.
The sold out show brought out the closet freaks of all variety of San Diego, with a fun mix of people and fetish fans in intense outfits attending the show, some of which got to get on stage with the band to dance to "I Sit on Acid" as their finale! Lords of Acid tranced the concert goers with their loud seductive and obscene techno moves and music that begged your body to move to the music. During the lucky 13 song of the night, Rubber Doll, a blown up brunette sex doll was being tossed above the crowd like a beach ball at summer concert gig, then it was thrown on stage and caught by Mea.
